Terms of service.
Use Shiplog to ship updates. Don’t use it to harm people. That’s the spirit. Full text below.
The deal
By signing up you agree to these terms. We may update them; we’ll notify users by email and post a dated revision here.
Your content
You keep all ownership of what you publish. By posting on Shiplog you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, transmit, and create OG images / RSS items / embeds of it so we can serve your public page and your subscribers.
We may surface public ships on /explore and the leaderboard. Mark a ship as private (Team plan) to opt out.
Acceptable use
Do not use Shiplog to:
- Publish content that violates the law (defamation, infringement, CSAM, etc.).
- Harass, dox, or impersonate other people.
- Spam — automated mass-publishing of unrelated content, fake-engagement loops, or embedded malware.
- Reverse-engineer the service or evade rate limits.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate this. Egregious abuse: immediate; soft calls: we’ll email first.
